Li is soft and warm.
The Mother speaks to her through wind in red deserts, soil and rocks, ocean submission, and heat.
She see’s herself in fresh white roots, moth antenna, debris flowing in-stream, whale eyes, harp notes, and nova clouds— among other things.
Li’s connection to The All has always been absorbent and solid, becoming brighter after leaving dogmatic organized religion, and in each passing year.
As young person, then young mother, she found herself innately practicing energy work, tuning into a vibration that flowed as easily as blood in her veins; all in divine attunement to, what she refers to as, The Mother.
The Mother is the warmth of objective knowing without ego. She is The Great Creator, and speaks through all of the elements. Most directly through pure elementals: earth, wind, fire, water. She is All Things. So She, is Us. Most easily moving though us in our purest states, unadulterated with ego.
Li came from soil poisoned for her growth. A lifetime of cultivation has given her new ground. Like the water lily, she blooms. Like the sequoia, she roots. She has wells of honor for murky depths, part of what informs her to deep dive with those she serves.
She has now been a practicing facilitator of energetic and physical medicines for years. Her dream of Temple began in 2016, finally finding her sisters in creation in 2020. Her muggle career background is in company and large-scale project management, copywriting and social media management, all divinely aiding the cause. Her life’s passions have always been in the service of others, and the arts. She owns a photography company. Her biggest life and love accomplishment is being a mother.
Her dream for Temple is to provide a feeling of home to the community. A knowing that you belong. You are held, and are needed. A knowing of our neighbors and other creators. A collective healing.
"You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting -
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things."
